WHU seek students with diverse and creative mind with an above average track record of academic education. The basic requirements for admission at WHU include:

• Bachelor’s degree in business related field
• International experience (study or internship abroad)
• Practical experience (minimum 14 weeks of internship)
• GMAT, GRE or TM-BASE
• An IELTS score of 7.0 or equivalent, TOEFL score of 100 IBT or equivalent

Students need to apply online, submit the application forms and required documents and clear the admission test. The admission test is held completely in English and consists of two interviews and a group activity. In the first interview, candidates are asked to prepare a presentation and in the second interview, candidates have to present their motive and views behind joining WHU, share their personal experiences and their career aspirations. The group activity includes candidates working with other applications on a given task while being observed by the examiners. For non-German residents, interviews are conducted through Skype.
